Kate Schlientz is the CEO of CommuniKate Media, LLC, and the creator of IntoxiKate.com, a multimedia passion project celebrating local restaurants and food purveyors, which launched in 2013. Under the IntoxiKate umbrella, Kate has developed a successful local radio show and podcast, Fork This with IntoxiKate. Leveraging her expertise, Kate has served as the culinary curator for several prominent food-focused events including An Evening for Good Taste, one of Feeding Westchester's largest fundraising efforts. Additionally, she created Eating for Orange, the county's largest collaborative social media campaign raising awareness for the organization. With her combined agency work and IntoxiKate, Kate has established herself as a respected voice in the local food scene. Kate's dedication to the industry was recognized by Westchester Magazine, 914 Inc. Magazine and the Women's Enterprise Development Center for her advocacy efforts supporting restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has a BA from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and a Master’s degree in Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She has lived in Westchester since 2005.
